Ear infection question....
If they have an ear infection...will they always have a fever??

i don't know if the same thing follows suit for babies as with adults, but I had a double ear infection - inner and outer at the same time in one ear, and i had no fever at all.... just horrific horrific pain!

I have to tell you that Gilly NEVER has fever so this is a new clear and evident reason for an ear infection. I havent been on that side of the fence with no fever yet.

No, definitely not. Ava almost never gets a fever with an ear infection, and I never did as a child, either.

No, Molly didn't run a fever at all or tug at her ear. I ended up taking her to the doctor because of her mucusy, runny nose which wasn't getting better. That was the only symptom plus she seemed to be a little whiny but I thought that was also because of the nose.

No. My girls have had many ear infections w/o a fever. If you think it's in ear infection, most likely it is.
