Early Anatomy Scan Question
I am having an early anatomy scan done on August 27 when I will be 16.5 weeks. I am having the regular anatomy scan/Level II done around 20 weeks.
What should I expect at the early anatomy scan? What are they looking for?

Re: Early Anatomy Scan Question
I'm not sure - I've never heard of an early anatomy scan.
Did you have the NT at 12 weeks?

Yes - I had the NT last week. I tried to do some research on it, but couldn't find much information. I don't think many doctors send their patients for one. I also see a high risk ob-gyb for all of my scans and tests.

Re: Early Anatomy Scan Question
I had a genetic ultrascreen at 16 weeks -- I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about. It was introduced to me as a precursor to the Level II. To be honest I'm not sure why I had it done, but I assume it's because I'm high risk due to high blood pressure.
