Early Intervention
What type of cert is needed? I already have my special ed k-6... Is there a special education early childhood extension? Would is just be a regular ec extension Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There is a special license for birth through grade 2 but I am nto sure if you will need it. I know my friend does EI and has 1-6 license. I have my k-12 so I was all good!
Also, most agencies require a Department of Health approval letter in addition to ur license!

You could call an agency to find out. I have worked with Kidz Therapy in Garden City and have found them to be good.

you need spec ed birth to 2nd grade plus an approval from the Dept of Health, you can go on their website for the application

Its the Early Childhood SPECIAL EDUCATION... B-1 degree and then their is Childhood 1-6
I want to work for an agency..any ideas?
