Earrings/Ear Problem... need advice...

So my ear lobe got a tiny infection, so I took my earrings out about a month ago to let it heal... today I cleaned them all up and put them in my ears... well OUCH... it wasnt so easy to get them in and now my ears hurt... I feel like they may have closed a bit... what can I do to help them? Neosporin? Should I take them out again?

i have my earring holes close all the time. i usually squeeze my earlobe (front and back and push to the middle if that made sense) and when I put my earrings in I put them in from back to front first- I find it much easier for some reason. I use neosporin as well to help w/ discomfort.

My earring holes always close too. Just make sure you don't push too hard with the earring...last time I id that it bled a lot...
