Re: East Coast Fertility...thoughts
I have heard mixed reviews, but I think you can say that about a lot of places.
I didn't make an appointment with them because I didnt like how they "advertise" so much on the radio etc.
I think you should make an appointment and see how you feel when you meet with them.
My original OBGYN referred me to Dr. Pena from there so I dont know if that will help you or not.

Re: East Coast Fertility...thoughts
I just started going to East Coast Fertility and I have to say after everything I read on here, I was hesitant. So far I think they are great. I am glad I formed my own opinions. I went for the first time last Wed. and then they did insemination on Fri. and Sat. morning. I never had a wait and they were really nice. I got to the Mt. Sinai office. You really can't go by everything you read b/c you will drive yourself crazy. I had 2 friends that went there also and they both had children. So that also put me at ease. Good Luck and do what makes you feel most comfortable.

Re: East Coast Fertility...thoughts
My friend raved about them. She was 44 and got pregnant. I made an appointment with them initially only to find out on my own for a month waiting for the apt my insurance did not cover me. I have to say that I am happy where I ended up...LI-IVF

Re: East Coast Fertility...thoughts
All I can say is I am almost 5 months pregnant after going to Eas Coast-Dr. Pena and we had severe male factor infetility. We did IVF with ICSI and BAM, it worked. I owe them my life!!!
Good luck!

I went there, and was very happy. I have 19 month old twin boys Make an appointment. I found out you cant base things on many dofferent opinions. Everyone will have their own opinion, and different ones, and those may be different from YOURs whish is what is important in this situation

Re: East Coast Fertility...thoughts
My friend who is also dealing with severe MF went there and hated it...she said it was a waste of her time (they really don't have a clue when it comes to severe MF).....she changed and went to Cornell and is now 15weeks pregnant.....
Then again, those that get pregnant at a particular place will rave about it and those that don't hate it...I would meet few doctors and then make a decision...
GL to you!!!
