East Rockaway - does it have a town pool?
DH and I are considering East Rockaway (Lynbrook SD, within the village) but one of my requisites is a town pool. My kids will not likely be going away to camp and I do not want one in my own backyard so, like I did growing up, I expect to spend much of our summers at the pool.
I cannot find anything online about it but the header pic on the village website has Bay Park and then a drawing of a pool 
Anyone know?

there is none. only echo park in hempsted.

it has a beach which is town of hempstead and it might have a kiddie pool. the beach is on the bay.
eta: lynbrook has a town pool in greis park.

East Rockaway has Hewlett Point Beach its a bay with a pool.. And lynbrook has its on pool...

If you are in Lynbrook SD #20 you can use the public pool in Lynbrook. There is an annual fee for families - there are no day passes (except for guests)...it is a wonderful pool! FM me if you want anymore info...

I grew up in East Rockaway. There is a pool down at Hewlett Point Beach. Although, since we aren't beach people, but pool people, we always went to the Oceanside Pool. Both are Town of Hempstead pools and require annual fees.
