Egg Retrieval *Update 11/11
Was moved from Tuesday to Monday!!! Sooo nervous!!!!!
Can't believe this is happening.
Doing my trigger at 10pm tonight
11/10 Update: so happy It's over. It really was not as bad as I thought it was going to be! They retrieved 12 eggs....now it's just waiting till tomorrow and hoping some fertilize. I hate the waiting part!
11/11 Update: they just called me with my ferilization report.
Out of 12 only 10 were mature and as of this am ....7 Fertlized!!!!!!! I am soooo happy. I am literally sitting at work crying happy tears!!!!!!

Egg Retrieval
How exciting!! Is this your first ivf?? I just had my transfer today so you're a week behind me! This was my first ivf and I was so nervous for the retrieval bc I've never been put to sleep before! It was actually such a great experience overall and afterwards I felt pretty normal just a bit sore inside by my ovaries but that's about it! Good luck!!! Pm me if you have any specific questions!

Yes first ivf cycle! Glad to hear you felt good after....my concern was not being able to go to work the next day.

Good luck! You may feel a little tender, but there is absolutely no reason why you can't go to work the next day.

Good Luck!!!! You'll do great. I had my transfer this past Friday. I was able to go to work the day after my retrieval.

Good luck!
After all 3 of my retrievals, I did not feel like myself until 3 days later so I would not have been up for work the next day.

That's great! The waiting is always the worst. Waiting for the fert report. Waiting for transfer day. Waiting for beta. Then waiting for all the scans and tests. Keep us posted!
