IVF: Who went w/ you on Egg Retrieval day?
If your DH or SO couldn't go with you for whatever reason the day of ER; who went with you.
For work reasons, if it ends up during the week; I dont think he would be able to go.
I'm tossing around the idea of having Mom and MIL come; but I'm not sure.
Anyone else in/was in a similar situation??

My DH went with me, since while I was having the egg retreival done, he was giving his "sample". I would think if he isn't able to go with you, you will have to work out a time for him to go and give a sample ahead of time.

My DH came with me bc he had to do his thing but then had to go to work so a close friend of mine came with us and she drove me home.

Shaun and my mom. It worked out since the ER was on a Saturday, and it was a holiday weekend so we did a 2dt on Monday.

DH had to give his sample so he had to be there. If he didn't, I likely would have had my mother take me. Def not my MIL! lol

DH was my only option cause he was the only one who knew we were doing IVF (besides the drs). Plus DH had to give a sample and we were told a fresh sample is best.
