Elchim Hair Dryers...

Which one do you have?
Where is the best place to get it?
What is the price range?

Thanks! I want to make sure I am not getting ripped off!

Re: Elchim Hair Dryers...

I just got one for my birthday a couple weeks ago. I believe DH got it at Harmon for $89 - Elchim 2001.

Honestly, I really don't think its that great and am a little bummed about it. I think my Super Solano was much better.

I have the same one. And I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who feels that way! It was definitely not the greatest hair dryer ever- and I was quite disappointed. In fact, I've already bought a much cheaper one at Ulta that is so much better!

I have the Elchim 2001 (red one)
I think I paid $80 or so. Chat Icon

Performance wise, I think it's overrated. I prefer my $25 Conair. Chat Icon Plus my Conair is lighter. (The Elchim is a bit heavier by comparison.)

I think mine is the 2001 - It's just like any other dryer...the problem is my hair - not the dryer Chat Icon

I agree with others. Its better than my conair but nothing to rave about. I got it at folica.com for around $85.

Got mine from the Tri-County flea market about 4 years ago.

Still kicking. Love it.

Re: Elchim Hair Dryers...

I got the Elchim 2001 in pink online for a good price, but I don't remember off hand...

I am disappointed in it. It's heavy and the switches are always in my way. I end up unintentionally changing the settings all the time.

I'm so glad I'm glad that I'm not the only one that was disappointed. It's totally overrated.

Re: Elchim Hair Dryers...

I have the Elchim 2001 (the red one) and I paid about $80 for it. It was well worth it to me. It dries my hair much faster than other dryers, and makes it very smooth and shiny so I don't have to use the flat iron if I don't want to.

However, I only use it once in a blue moon, so I don't think I'm in a position to judge if it is or isn't worth it Chat Icon
