Elementary Level - Collab Class Teacher gift?
DD is in a collaborative class w/ a general ed. teacher, special ed teacher and an aide. They are all in the classroom the entire day. DD is a general ed student, not classified (if that makes a difference). In the past I spent $25 for holiday gift for DD's teachers.
What would you do? Buy both teachers $25 gift and something a little less for the aide? OR Spend the most on the general teacher, less on the spec. ed and even a little less on the aide?
Please help bc I'm so confused!

I am a special ed teacher in a co-teaching class. I can tell you that my coteacher and I always receive the same presents from all our kids. They do not distinguish between us. That's been my experience.

same with me. as the gen ed teacher, i always taught all students, not just the gen eds. my special ed coteacher did the same with the gen eds. I never received a different gift than she did.

Thanks for the responses. I decided to get both teachers the same gift, box of Godiva choc, and the TA a smaller box of Godiva. DD said the teachers said they all love chocolate!

Can I just throw this in there? I would spend the same amount of $ on the aide as I would the teachers. Their job may be slightly different but they work just as hard as the teachers do and IMO should be gifted the same!!
