Elementary School - Holiday Gift Question
Who do you typically give gifts to? I know teacher, teacher aide and bus driver but, I was wondering if you give something typically to the "special" teachers like gym and art.
Thanks!
ETA - DS loves his gym teacher so I was curious.

I didn't last year for the holidays, but I did at the end of the year. We gave $15 gift cards to music, art, library, computer and gym teachers. For the holidays I did his teacher, speech therapist and music teacher Bc she went out of her way for my DS and I appreciated it.
I'm not sure what we are doing this year since 2 of my kids are in elementary and they have the same "special" teachers and it will just add up so fast. I really didn't help did I?  I'm sorry!

We give to all, including specials, library, and lunch aide. We give $5 gift cards to them (starbucks, DD, etc). It's just a token gift but I think it's appreciated. Of course we also give to the teachers, aides, therapists, bus driver as well. School gifts is one of my biggest expenses.

I know - he's been in daycare since he was 11 weeks old and has a younger brother. And he's in aftercare too so I have to get something for the teachers there.
Just giving a small token gift to the bus driver - he only takes the bus 2x a week at most in the afternoon (when he goes to aftercare).
I'm not ready to shop yet but, I like to have a list together in case I randomly stumble across a good deal.

I bought for the teacher and assistant last year -
This year there isn't an assistant, but subject teachers (art, library, gym, music)
Unless my son really loved a particular teacher, or I had a relationship w/ them, knew of something going on etc - I'm only buying the 1st Grade teacher.
The bus driver is a miserable SOB to he gets nada from me.
I also still have to buy for the daycare teachers (my younger one) and before/aftercare

I buy for the teacher (we don't have full time TAs anymore), bus driver, and special area teachers. I spend more for the teacher and give the bus driver and special area teachers a token gift ($5 gift cards usually).

I bought for their main teacher and kevin's speech and miki's reading teacher, still need to buy a small token gift for kevin's assistant teacher, gym teacher, music teacher and art teacher
