Elementary School Teacher question
I'm getting something for Joseph & Maddie's teachers for the (gasp!) holidays.
Anyway, I was thinking giftcard to Starbucks (which is around the corner from the school) and...here's the question:
Rosemary Repel Leave-in Conditioner.
We have had NUMEROUS outbreaks of lice in our school. It's a product that naturally repels lice.
I normally wouldn't consider such a personal gift, but I got it as a gift & thought - given the outbreaks - it was genius.
Is that rude to give? Should I just stick with Starbucks?

Re: Elementary School Teacher question
I persoanlly would not be offended but I know I have colleagues who would be up in arms. I guess it depends on what type of realtionship you have with these teachers.
I do think it is genius and I now must buy some for myself.

Re: Elementary School Teacher question
It *definitely* depends on your relationship with the teacher(s)! If you gave it with a cute card/poem or something - I think you could pull it off!

Re: Elementary School Teacher question
i think it's a strange gift - i would stick to SB. Lice is an annual event - I have just been wearing my hair back with the outbreaks in my school.

Re: Elementary School Teacher question
I would stick with Starbucks for the gifts - BUT - definitely tell these teachers about that product, I'm sure they'd love to know about it. I'm happy you posted this because I did not hear about it.
