Elisabeth Hasselbeck to leave "The View"?
"AN on-air dig from co-host Rosie O'Donnell during an episode of "The View" this week left co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck in tears after the taping, sources told Page Six. "Elisabeth just can't take it any more," the insider said of her tensions with O'Donnell, who constantly slams her conservative stance. Things got especially ugly on Wednesday. Hasselbeck said she supported the government's access to citizens' phone conversations. Liberal O'Donnell responded, "Elisabeth, you are very young and you are very wrong." Hasselbeck accused Rosie of ageism and broke down later off-camera. By yesterday afternoon, Rosie had blogged: "i said some of elisabeth's comments were ignorant which was ignorant itself." This wasn't the first time the women have clashed on camera, but sources told us the insult was the last straw for Hasselbeck. "Her days there are numbered. She is looking to leave," said the spy, who hinted that Hasselbeck was shopping for a permanent spot at E!"
Yeah, E!, can you not hire Elisabeth? I like my crap TV minus the whine. Someone stick her back on that Survivor island from whence she came.

I agree that Rosie can be abrasive & difficult to work with, but honestly I never liked Lizzy so I am not all that upset

I am not the biggest fan of Elisabeth but I can understand how she feels (if story is true). Rosie really really dug into her and I would have been humiliated.
I do notice a sort of tension between her and the other ladies. It is very obvious they do not care for her. That has got to be rough.

I can't stand Rosie, I think she acts as though her point-of-view on everything is the correct one and anyone who disagrees with anything she thinks, she blasts!! I actually don't mind Elisabeth, she never got so worked up on the show before Rosie joined, IMO.

Rosie was laughing at her when she put the kids helmet on backwards, she got soooo  and Rosie was just laughing and making fun of her!

i watch the view everyday and the problem with elisabeth is that when she says things, her facts are generally wrong and she never makes any sense.

I agree. I thought Rosie got too personal, but I thought it was telling when Joy said to Elisabeth, "How can you continue to defend this administration?" and Elisabeth had no answer. Her conservative views don't bother me so much as the fact that very often she seems to go off on emotion and not fact. She would be a lot more credible if she was able to cite specifics, in this case, what the Bush administration is doing that is postive.

Ill admit that I used to LOVE the view and even watched it throughout college - which amused my friends - but I cannot watch it since Rosie went on - I find her sooo obnoxious and a loud mouth - Elisabeth was not my favorite but Id def take her 10 fold over Rosie
