embaressing question about my boobs
So I am 5w4d and for weeks my boobs have been really sore. But that is not the problem.
The problem is that my actual nipples seem to be swollen. They are huge, always hard, and the slightest touch hurt them, they are sooo sensitive. They really do look like they are inflamed almost.
Did anyone else have this? Am I abnormal?
It is so bad that I cannot stand to not have a bra on even for a few minutes. I just ran to Blums in Patchogue and bought a $60 bra for me to sleep in every night.
Should I try to ice them?

Totally normal! I couldn't stand my bras at 5w and could barely sleep on my stomach bc they hurt so much. Your boobs/nipples are going to change soooo much!! Mine grew a cup size and look like they belong on National Geographic! LOL You are NOT abnormal... maybe the ice would actually make them feel better - go for it!!

Totally normal...ice can help if they r really sore. I switched to sports bras in the 1st tri. Don't worry, you are not alone. My boobs are out of control at 32 weeks now. I'm scared I may start leaking b/c i read that happens now. YIKES!!

Absolutely! I used to cringe anytime my nipples would brush against anything. DH had strict instructions to stay away during that period!

ohhh yesss! at almost 14 weeks, my boobs still feel like that 
i have also had the nipple pain... it once felt like needles were coming out of my nipples lol

Yes I had needles coming out of my nipples last night...OUCH

Nope, not abnormal - mine were killing me for weeks. Its the increase in progesterone that causes this.
I wouldn't ice them; I'm cringing just thinking about it. My MW suggested a really supportive bra.
It does go away. My bbs feel almost normal at this point. Fel better!
