End of Lease WWYD?
My lease is up in February and I'm not sure what I want to do. I only have 18,000 miles on a 30,000 lease. I love the car but wouldn't want to buy it.
Would you... -extend the lease? -get something new?
Are car companies willing to negotiate because I didn't use 12,000 miles?

I would start new, the bank will not do anything for you in this situation. They are happy to make more money off of your returned car...
if you end up buying this car outright, you would be paying more then if you brought it outright originally.

Re: End of Lease WWYD?
I agree with babyboy...I was going to buy my lease b/c I was over milage
It made more sense for me to start fresh and get a new suv the way I wanted it (I bought it)
It was 3% and first 2 payments on them
Vs 9% on the used car

I'd drive all over the next two months! They won't give you squat for being under mileage (I always was on my leases since I am a SAHM).
I'd start fresh with something new. That's what I loved about leasing, getting something new every 3 years. I know own my new car outright, and I already miss the fact I can't trade it in withing 2 years
