Endoscopy

I have to have an endoscopy done tomorrow. I have a question I have to go into work the following day the dr said I should be fine to work. Is this true for people that had this done. And second do I get results there? like if I have celiacs????

It all depends on how you react to the anesthesia. I went right out to dinner after I had it done. I was feeling really bloated after it, but they said it was normal since they 'blow your stomach up' with air.

As for results, they just tell you what they saw. They can't tell you results of biopsies and other things that need tests. My doctor told me she saw no ulcers and that I'd get the biopsy results in about a week.

I was just tired from the anesthesia that day. Other than that I was fine.

I felt fine after mine and went right to lunch afterwards. The only results that I had to wait for were for the biopsy, which I received within one week. Other than that, my doctor was able to tell me exactly what was going on right after the procedure. Good luck!
