My favorite thing about living on LI is that I can drive to either a big city or the beach in a matter of minutes!

My favorite thing about LI is you are close to everything. I only have to travel 20 min to get to the city and only about an hour to get to the end of island for a completely different experience. Long Island has it all!

Having lived elsewhere I can honestly say we have the best schools and teachers!
As I head back to school I always have a back to school party for my colleagues!
They are AMAZING and I am so fortunate to be in such good company!

My favorite thing is being close to my family... They help us out so much and mean the world to my kids...
Oh and being able to find a Starbucks in a 5 mile radius of wherever I am...

My favorite thing about Long Island is being able to watch the sun rise in the east over the ocean and set in the west over the bay. How lucky we are!

My favorite thing about LI is that you can get a bit of everything here. From the beaches to the farms. You can do just about everything here.. And we have!!!

My favorite thing about living on Long Island is having my parents still living in the house in which I grew up and now seeing my 4 years old in the same rooms, same backyard, same kitchen that I grew up in. We live in Virginia now but travel up to LI every 3 weeks so that my parents can enjoy their only grandchild. So I guess my face thing about LI is that sense of home.

My favorite things about Long Island are the Fire Island and Montauk Lighthouses and the various beautiful beaches. Also the smell of the ocean air from so many locations on this beautiful island. And walking the boardwalk at Jones Beach. As much as I'm not a fan of the taxes, cost of living,or the traffic, I really love Long Island. Where else can you be so close to the beaches, vineyards,parks, lighthouses,farms , and cool oddities like
Flander's Duck , yet be so close to the city? There is so much to do and see on the island.There is also lots of history, historic homes and even Oheka Castle. And don't get me started on the topic of food. Having lived away from here for a bunch of years as a kid, it made me appreciate what Long Island has even more when we moved back.
