To enter please reply to this official contest thread and tell us what is your favorite way for your child to get some exercise? Then become a fan of DREAMNASTICS on facebook.
Also every person who enters this contest is entitled to one free open gym session from DREAMNASTICS. Please contact them directly to redeem this at (516) 829-8099.

Embark on a dynamic journey for parents and children to explore mind, body and spirit. Through movement and structured interaction, they help develop bonds that will last a lifetime. Their facility is a safe, fun and stimulating environment designed to keep your child on the move. Their program promotes self awareness, builds confidence and instills in children the importance of an active, healthy lifestyle.
Winner will be selected at random from all the entrants. Contest ends at midnight on February 27th and the winner will be announced that week.

I like to put on the Jake and the never-land pirate cd and dance around the house with DS. We do all sorts of silly moves that are similar to jumping jacks, squats and stretches.

We pump the Ipod up loud and shake our tusshies and wiggle our hands and jump around like silly beans.
Ok I do most of it while DS stands there laughing at me but he eventually caves and starts moving

Kieran LOVES going to the playground. We can easily spend hours there, climbing, swinging, jumping, running! It's one of my favorite ways to hang out with him because I really get to see what he is capable of, and I get to watch him figure out new things!

DS takes long bike rides while I push DD in her carriage. We explore the neighborhood we live in and discover new blocks and fun lawn ornaments along the way!

We love to get out and go anywhere that will allow us to move, run or walk, that includes the mall, museums, science center, long walks in our neighborhood and whenever possible the park!

DD is 15months and right now our favorite way to get some exercise is by playing tag. Laps around the kitchen & living while blasting the music is always a great way to get some laughter in while she works out those little legs!

DD loves playing football with DH. He taught her the football stance and she yells 'DOWN, SET, HUT' and he'll toss the ball and she runs like a maniac with it while he chases her. So sweet

DS loves to dance and is always asking me to turn the radio on so he can dance alone, with me or his little brother. He then does his "chicken wing" dance as daddy calls it.

DD loves to dance to any kind of music! She loves shaking her coolie n she even gets really low to the ground at 20 months. We also run around the house n she says 'catch me, catch me'..she is one active n playful little girl!

Blast some music on my itunes - everything from Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Usher to the soundtrack to the Little Mermaid and everything in between..and we all dance like Crazy fools in our kitchen. Great way to break up the long winter days!!!
