Enuresis - night time wetting/alarm
Has anyone used the nighttime alarms for their child with Enuresis? Just wondering if it worked for you? My child has been potty trained since 2.5 but has never woken up dry. He just sleeps very very deeply. Doctor says to leave him but he gets so upset having to wear a pull up to bed. I heard about the alarm and want to give it a try. Anyone else use it?

Yes. I used it and it worked perfectly in less than a week. However, I used it for my 5 (almost 6) year old. Not sure how old your kid is.

Re: Enuresis - night time wetting/alarm
i tried my DD freaked out about it but she was under 5.
I have up trying till about 5 when she her little brother being trained she said she didn't want to wear pullups anymore.
I basically had to train her at night. I stop giving her pulls up and would wake her up between 10-11 at night make her pee. sometimes i was too late. she typically woke up dry.
I did that for a few months and eventually she got up on her own or just made it through the whole night without having too.

I wasn’t sure if you were talking about a young kid. With a 5 year old, I’d try the alarm. We used the Wetstop 3. Got it on amazon. Reviews were great and I spoke to a ped nephrologist who said when used correctly, results are amazing. It is a loud alarm and can scare a younger kid. An older kid who is motivated and understands the point of the alarm will be trained super fast.

we tried it. it didn't work for us. DS is a very heavy sleeper and the noise never woke him up. i would hear it in the next room but he would sleep right through. he also moves around in his sleep and would disconnect the wire and set off the alarm, waking me u and sleeping through it.
good luck!

Did he ultimately grow out of it?
