Espresso/Dark Wood in Bedroom

I'm trying to convince my DH to buy me a new bedroom set -- we just did the walls a light blue and he isn't "seeing" how espresso/dark wood furniture will go.

I totally do, but want to show him pics. Anyone have dark wood bedroom pics?

TIA!

Re: Espresso/Dark Wood in Bedroom

My best friend just bought a house and she has expresso furniture with light blue accents on her bedding. Here are some pics. I think it will look great!

Try showing him this.

I have dark wood with blue walls but only that combo in my dining room if you want to see pics.

My bedroom just has dark wood but tan walls.

I have it in the living room... I never really noticed more dust? Then again, I'm a bit of a slob. Chat Icon

ITA! I love my dark wood furniture in my bedroom, but, you can see every little spec of dust.

Thanks, I'm going to show him them. If this upload works, this is the color blue - its not as bright (I have the flash on to pick up the floor that we cleaned and polyed).

I think itll be a great contrast.

We have a beach theme going so I think he is getting sidetracked with that.
