Evaporation lines on Equate tests?
This one is not for me... LOL, wish it was though. I recommended Equate PG tests to a coworker because I loved them throughout both PG's and in between . Well, she said she tested at 9dpo and 10dpo FMU and could have sworn there was some kind of line there but not until closer to 10 min. or even longer. She said you could hardly see anything. You have to take the test apart and tilt it, etc. LOL! She said it looked like a VERY, VERY light pink line. There was just a lot of squinting going on I guess! Well, a little while after taking the test she still could have sworn it was still there, but barely. But after a few hours, the lines faded away and then when it dried she saw an evaporation line. Thin, colorless dented in line. But the line she saw she said was thicker and had color. At least she thinks? This happened with both tests, the same brand, but bought at 2 different Walmarts, so different lots. I told her that I've used Equate at least 30+ times and I have never even seen an evaporation line before with that brand. It was either positive or bright white and blank even after it dried out. LOL! So, what do you girls think? Have you seen evap lines with Equate recently? I've just never heard of evaps with them. They've always been either pure white or not. These were the pink colored + or - tests. Not the blue one's. Thanks!

Re: Evaporation lines on Equate tests?
huh. I couldn't know for sure. Last time I tested, I did use the Equate brand and got a light blue line. It was definitely visible though without holding it to the light and squinting (lol), but mine showed up within a less than a minute and even STAYED on the test until the next day (it got darker and darker as the hours proceeded). It DID end up being a positive BFP for me (which was confirmed days later by a digital). But mine was so different than hers. The way you described it, it might very well just be an evaporation line, but who knows!!! The only way to know for sure is for her to test again with a different brand and eventually a digital.
Wish I could be more help
