Ever buy wood furniture from Crate and Barrel?
We're looking at some pieces - a dresser, 2 nightables, an entertainment center and a bookcase.
All say they are made from real wood, engineered wood and veneers. I know it's hard to find solid wood pieces these days! Just wondering if anyone has ever seen their stuff or could comment on the quality.
We'll probably go to the store in Manhasset first and then make a decision.

I think you have to look at the individual piece. We have their Taka trunk. It is very solid, very heavy and a nice piece. I have seen other pieces there, though, that don't seem made as well.
Their customer service and delivery is great!

I have a coffee table and end tables and they are TERRIBLE. They did not hold up well at all - the finish has come off the top of the coffee table. However, they were not expensive, so I wasn't expecting the best quality.

We have a media stand from them that we really like. It appears to be of good quality and weighs about a zillion pounds. We haven't had it that long for me to comment on the wear, but so far, so good.
