Need Feedback On Crate and Barrel Furniture
Just wondering if anyone on here, knows anything about crate and barrel furniture.
I really like their stuff, and so far their customer service has been excellent.
I just dont want to get scammed.
When i went there, they boasted how their furniture is made in USA, and the bed set i liked was made in italy, they talked about their flat rate delivery fee, and how they dont screw around, and give you a set date and 3 hour window for delivery....it almost seems to good to be true
So if you or someone you know, has bought furniture from the, please let me know the good bad and ugly

I can't help you yet but I actually just ordered a table and chairs set from them online. It's being delivered on Feb 1st so I guess I'll know then. I have my fingers crossed it's going to be good quality, etc.

I ordered a bed and a sofa from them and was very pleased with the whole process. The flat rate is fantastic - so load up the truck if you want.
The quality is what I expected - I am vrey happy with our purchases.

We have ordered a sofa, two shelves and an area rug from them. (I also have two barstools that I picked up at the store.) We were very pleased with their customer service, delivery and the quality is excellent.
I would definitely recommend C&B furniture to anyone.

My dining table, desk, and filing cabinet/hutch are from there and we love the furniture. They also have EXCELLENT customer servicer. I ordered the wrong color chairs and they came and picked them up and replaced them with the color I wanted.

I have a trunk type coffee table from them. The quality is great and their delivery was awesome. Right on time in the window they promised. C&B and Pottery Barn are both a little pricey, but their service and delivery made it worth buying from them IMO.

I love my furniture! We worked with a woman in the city location and she was amazing. She even called us to find out how happy we are with the items.
We got a dining room table w/ chairs
2 high back chairs & Sofas
She helped us with measurements and everything else.
The couch was a bit stiff in the beginning and has broken in and everyone says how comfortable it is.

be careful with quality matterign on what you get- there was a Money article a year or so ago that said things were not made properly for the price at crate and barrel, pottery barn and restoration hardware - they recommended using the catalogs to find similar designs that are better made for the price
but we do have a bar from crate and barrel it was shipped on time- but there are a few cracks that i can only blame on humidity and dryness on our piece and it is only 2 years old

My brother bought all of his furniture from C&B and has been very very happy! They had a problem with cracking/splitting on their coffee table and they took it back and gave them a new one no problems and haven't had any issues since.
He was very happy with their flat rate delivery charge as well!
I have to say I considered getting our bedroom set from Pottery Barn but decided against it b/c delivery was going to be over $1k in the end! I actually called them I told them I wasn't ordering from them b/c their shipping fees are crazy and I would be happy to pick the stuff up in store and not pay del fees - they didn't go for it - HA HA!

I have lots of C&B Furniture including an entire dining set, leaning bookshelves, the wine tower etc. We love it all. No complaints here. Customer service has always been great too.

Our bedframe is there and we love it. Also our entertainment center is from there and it has help up pretty well.
BUT....
Our kitchen table is from Crate and the chairs are from IKEA. No one can tell the difference, even us.

Based on comment above I feel that I should also mention that our dining table is Crate & Barrel, but the matching chairs are from Target....and as the last poster stated nobody (except my bank account) knows the difference at all!!

Our trunk and side table in our living room are from Crate & Barrel - from the Taka collection. We love them and they are totally well made and sturdy!
