Ya know.. its funny because 25 didnt bother me.. but Ill be 26 in a few weeks and I already had a meltdown about it.
I dont get it as I am 25 have a house, married, good job etc but 26!!!! AHH
That is so close to 30!
I also always wanted to be a "young" mom and since now I know I will have fertility issues, I think that is why I am so upset about it.

I'll be 36 next month, BUT 29 really freaked me out. I had no problem with 30, but for some reason when I turned 29 I just wanted to hide from everyone

29 freaked me out, happened in December. I think I'm okay for 30 when it happens but the 29 was really upsetting, I guess the last year in the twenties.
I was freaked a little when I turned 25 too. Isn't it so weird how a number can affect us so much?

I started freaking out about getting older at 25. I think it has to do with realizing you're not in your early 20's anymore.
At 26, 27 and 28, I freaked out less. This July I will be 29 and I am dreading it already. I'm hoping by the time I hit 30, I will be ready to face it.
DH doesn't understand it. He thinks I'm nuts.

The worst one was turning 20. I was so upset I was no longer a teenager.
They have gotten easier since then. But I think 40 in 3 years is going to be a rough one too.

Turning 20 and then turning 22 were weird b/days for me. Turning 20 b/c I was no longer a teenager yet not yet legal (not that it stopped me  )....and turning 22 b/c the hype of turning 21 was over and now I was just at the bland ole 22.
Other than that, no freak outs.

30 was sort of a novelty. 31 is just blah.
Jennifer-- you are stressing too much for 25! I don't even remember much about 25-- I was probably drunk!

I am 33 and I wish I was turning 25 lol. yhea my 30th birthday freaked me out bad. i just kept thinking that omg I am going to die someday. Every once in a while i still get that panick that I'm going to die someday it weired. Your not alone.

I turned 25 last year and it was my worst birthday ever - I dont know why, maybe for some of the reasons you wrote about - but i was overly sensitive about everything - none of my siblings (all younger) got me a card and I was so sad, I actually cried myself to sleep - - not a usual practice of mine
dh made it better though by getting me an extra present that week that I had really wanted
Being 25 has been great though so enjoy your birthday and hopefully it will be a happy one

25th birthday was awful for me. I was depressed for days. Now every birthday since then has been upsetting.
I am so scared to turn 30!! Good thing I have a few years till then. I am going to be a basket case.
It is funny now, because I am 27 and I wish I was 25 again.

it was realization that i was in my 'late 20s" and closer to 30 than 20
