Excel gurus (formula question)
Can someone please help me with a formula to determine the final price of something after 18% gratuity and 6% sales tax? Maybe it is the hour or something but I can not figure it out!

This is probably the long dragged out way to do this but...
=(20000+20000*18%+20000*6%)
and replace the 20000 with whatever numbers..
I'm obviously no excel guru so this should be good in the meantime

No guru either but this is what I got:
=SUM((10)+(10*18%)+(10*6%))
Replace 10 with the final amount of the check. This is assuming you do not pay tax on the gratuity or gratuity on the tax.

I did this but I wasn't sure it was the right way!
=(XXXX)*(1.18)*(1.06)
(with XXXX representing the cost) I believe in our case, the gratuity is taxed

That's the way I would do it - I calculated the cost of our wedding that way.
