Excel mail merge question

For some reason when I do the mail merge in work to do labels, all the zip codes that begin with "0" -all the zeros are gone. Even the cells that are "text" the zip codes didn't show up.

Any help?

There's an option to format the number as a zip code (Format Cells - Number - Special) or try putting an apostrophe in front of it.

you need to reformat, b/c i find even using the zipcode format, word still drops the zero.

I believe if you format it as general, or text maybe, you will need to click in the cell and retype the 0, then you will see the cell has a green little triangle in it...then its formatted so Word doesnt drop the 0.
