Excel Question
Is there a way to have columns total up (to make sure they add up right) but not show the total in a separate cell?

Do you just want to check the total?
If so, you can highlight the cells then right click a the bottom of the worksheet and a small menu will pop up, make sure SUM is checked, then the sum of the highlighted column will show up in the bottom right hand part of the worksheet

Or you can just hide the row that shows the total.
