Exec Asst Salary on LI

Hi all, I am debating returning to the work force but with the high cost of childcare I need to make a certain amount. Would anyone mind sharing their salary range. You can FM if more comfortable.

I ask this because I have only worked in Manhattan and had made 60K or better

The highest salary I have ever been offered on LI was about $55K and those are not abundant.

I would say the average is about $45-55 for an experienced exec asst.

There are a few that are higher but hard to find.

I have a few search firms I used that may help.

Def. more in the $45-$50k range. I do know a few that make $60k+ but it's more specialized like within HR.

And def. Ex. Assistant, more administrative types make anywhere from $25k-$40k

I have a friend that's an EA at Computer Associates - I believe she started in the 60K range - plus, they seem to have great benefits.

How many years of experience do you have? What industry did you work in? How many people did you support or did you support 1 person (like a CEO, etc).

I would say anywhere from $45-60k average.

I have over 15 years exp supporting high level executives (Departmental Presidents & Corporate VP's) as well as managing other Admins, receptionists, interns & temps

I have worked in the fashion industry, and the benefits and corporate real estate divisions of a well known entertainment company and I do have a BA
