Exterior door colors...
Our house is beige with brown shutters, and I want to do something to the door (white) to make it pop a little. The only thing I can think of is forest green or a slightly lighter shade of green. Any other ideas? I like cranberry/burgundy colors but don't know how that will go with the brown.
I want to paint the whole house, but that's not in the cards for this year

I dont know how handy you are with Photshop but maybe you can take a pic of the front of your house and then change the color of the door in photshop to kind of get an idea on what it will look like
the green might look horrible whereas the cranberry looks great! KWIM?

You might be able to go with a cranberry shade that has a lot of brown in it. Get some swatches and see which ones are the closest to having a lot of brown in them. That way the cranberry is a warm cranberry as opposed to more blue which would be cool.

Ohh, I didn't think of that- maybe like a "barn red" color? I think that would be nicer than green.
Lisa, I don't have Photoshop, but thanks for the idea.
