Extreme Exhaustion

I'm soo tired this pregnancy. I have no energy, no will, nothing. I don't know if it's because I have 2 kids already but I don't remember being this tired with the others. I really hope I get my energy back in the 2nd trimester. I can't even wake up to go to work...ugh

Extreme Exhaustion

That was my pregnancy exactly and I had no other kids!

I went to bed every night at 8ish and woke up at 630 exhausted like I hadn't slept!

Feel better

Yes! And I didn't get it back 2nd trimester either aside from the occasional short lived energy boost.

Try taking vitamin d

Re: Extreme Exhaustion

I felt the same way with my first pregnancy. I felt too weak to even move. It turned out I had a slight iron deficiency. It barely showed up on my bloodwork. Taking an iron pill a day really helped. Of course ask your dr first, but I wasn't able to function without them. You could also eat more iron rich foods like spinach and red meat.

Extreme Exhaustion

I'm sorry Hun I know it sucks! Second trimester will be so much better! My first pregnancy I remember being exhausted first trimester and sleeping all the time since I was off (it was the summer and I'm a teacher) but this time I was def tired but not as much. Once I hit like 14-15 weeks though I have a lot more energy!! Hang in there!

Re: Extreme Exhaustion

This is my 2nd pregnancy and I've felt the same way!! So exhausted all the time and I really don't think I experienced this with my first. I'm just over 11 weeks and the fog is just starting to lift so I'm hoping things really improve over the next few weeks!

Re: Extreme Exhaustion

Also my third, I am 34 weeks today and absolutely exhausted. My c section is march 26th so just trying to be patient. It's just hard to entertain my two little guys when I just want to nap.

Yup, I worked basically 6 & 1/2 hour days for my entire pregnancy. I couldn't wake up in time to leave my house BEFORE 10, and I couldn't last through till 5:30. It was HORRIBLE. BUT, I loved every second. My hope by the time I'm preggo with #2 is that I won't HAVE to work.

Re: Extreme Exhaustion

Idk if it was the kids in the beginning or just that 1st tri exhaustion. I couldn't keep my eyes open and would doze to wak and find my kid ransacking stuff. It ended around 13/14 weeks. Now at 20 I sometimes need a nap at lunch or after dinner but I can live without it. I do feel more beat up though..crampy, pressure, etc. I think that's from doing more just bc I have kids to clean up after and care for.

Re: Extreme Exhaustion

With my 1st pregnancy, the exhaustion I had in the 1st trimester was unreal. I was never so tired in my life. With my 2nd pregnancy,, I def had much more energy in the 1st trimester. I was def tired, but no where near as bad as my 1st pregnancy.

For me too. It got a *little* better, but it's not consistent. Now when i get a burst of energy i try to get as many things done as possible because who knws when i'll feel like that again! lol

I'm also pregnant with my 3rd and also had extreme exhaustion my whole 1st trimester. By 13 weeks though I got my energy back for the most part. I mean I still can't stay up past 9:30-10 at the latest, but its much better than it was.
