Facebook and friends "sharing" my pics?
How can I prevent someone (who I"m friends with on FB) from sharing my pics and putting them on their wall? These aren't pics that they are tagged in. Can't figure out how to block that feature. TIA

I don't think you can. The only thing you can do is block them from seeing any of your pictures. Or ask them not to do it or to ask you first.

Yeah there's just no way. Even if FB gave the option to refuse sharing, all a person has to do is right click, save the image, and then re-upload it on their own page. The only sure fire way is to have all of your albums private- as in only you can see them- or not posting photos period which is basically defeating the purpose of FB IMO!

I believe there's a way for notification but you need a tag. So I tag a tree or something with my name. So I can get notified.
I got a link to an awesome clean up thing for FB and I SWEAR there was a place to check off that you had to be provide permission to share things you were tagged in. I'm at work but I'll go look it up at home.
In general it was a great clean up but it REALLY locks down your fb
ETA: Rule of thumb tho... its the internet. Period. NOTHING is private. If you put an image out there, someone can and will be able to get to it. End of Story.

Fair! My MIL is better at FB than me!  We work together, too, so it's hilarious when she comes rushing up to my desk and asks me if I saw my SIL's status update this morning.  Thank God she only uses her FB knowledge for good and not evil.... well at least as far as I'm concerned. My SIL may disagree!

If its an album, you can customize it so only certain ppl see it. I did it this morning, I put a maternity album up but only gave certain family members access to it.

there is nothing you can do about it....my MIL takes EVERY photo i post and reposts it on her page! i hate it
the only think you can do is block people from seeing the photos...but that can cause more drama than it is worth.
edit to say even if facebook removed the "download photo" feature, with iphones you can just take a snap shot of the page and repost it that way. the downside to technology
