Facebook and pic tagging: need advice
I'm not a member, nor do I wish to be because I'm a very private person. Keeping that in mind, I have two particular friends that constantly post and tag pictures of me (embarrassing ones at that). Without offending (because one of them is hypersensitive) either of them, how I delicately say to remove these pics and for the future I don't want pics posted of me on the internet.

You could set up a FB account and untag yourself.

I would just nicely ask them to stop because of your privacy preferences. There's no reason they should get offended or upset by the request.

Just be honest with her. Tell her that you don't want to upset her, and that you're sorry for not mentioning it to her before, but that you dont want people to be able to see your picture.
If she gets upset, comfort her by telling her that she didn't know how you felt so how was she supossed to know not to post pics of you.

Re: Facebook and pic tagging: need advice
Happens to me all the time. And every single picture they ever tag are the most FUGLY ones of me ever. Not ONCE has anyone tagged a good picture of me... but I digress....
Since I have an account I just go in and untag them and they really never notice.
Since you don't have an account, I would just ask them nicely if they could refrain- since you have privacy concerns. Friends will understand...

Yes.. friends should understand. and frankly, your comfort is more important than potentially offending your friend

I agree. Untagging still means the picture is out there. It doesn't solve the issue of them posting photos.
Also it doesn't mean they can't have the photo up - you can ask them to block you out.

I would be honest and tell her that you are uncomfortable with your pictures on FB. I would hope that she would understand.

How do you know this if you don't have a FB account? Their account isn't private?
