Facebook pet peeves.
These are always fun...
My #1 is people posting links about things that have nothing to do with them. Don't post links about vaccinating your kids if you don't have kids. It doesn't make sense

Agreed!!!! Or passive aggressive posts, or posts about how miserable someone is without stating it, and when people reach out and ask what's wrong, they never answer!

Yes.... as if talking casually to a friend who is standing right in front of them... it's really weird to me!
I personally couldn't stand all the political posts... so I blocked all the offenders and have been much happier

My grandmother sharing every damn spam post that comes her way of a cute dog or a sick kid.
Share if you support our troops.
If you don't like this picture of a deformed kid, you have no soul.
Share if puppies are cute.
All.Day. She's disabled, so she has really nothing else to do with her time. I'll get home from work and that will literally be the first ten posts on my news feed.

Selfies. Just a constant reminder of how self centered our society is.
The chronic, all day long "woe is me" posts. I have a few who are "cutting out all the toxic people in their lives" a few times a month. I'm wondering where they keep meeting them?

Hate the chain posts and the "type amen" posts.
Also hate when people post something totally opinionated about a controversial topic, where reasonable minds may differ (e.g, politics, or parenting, or whatever), and then get highly offended when someone comments with a different perspective or opinion. If you are putting your thoughts out there for public consumption, you are opening up the debate, in my opinion. Either welcome the discussion, or don't put it out there in the first place. If the poster doesn't want that, they should start a private page and include only those who share their views. Otherwise, it's just asking for drama.

It freaks me out when people check into an emergency room and say nothing else.
An emergency room is a scary place; going to one isn't a joke to generate attention on social media.

These things caused me to delete the app from my phone and log on one time a day. The pictures of people being sooooo awesome and better than you...lol
