Facebook question- People seeing your comments
So I went to a facebook page today to compalin about something. Used my name. I was nice but wanted them to look into something.
The comment is only on that vendors page. It does NOT appear on my timeline.
I got 3 comments saying "like" and "good for you" from my friends.
How are they seeing this??? Can I block my comments on other pages (friends of fan) from other people seeing this?
I ahve a friend that we don't agree politically. And I often have other friends say "why are you even commenting with this tool".
Can I stop my activity from showing up on my friends tineline/notification?

Nope.....YOur friends can unselect seeing your "comments and likes" but if you post/ comment on any page, either business or a friend" it can show up in other's newsfeeds.
I hate it and it sometimes keeps me from commenting/posting on pages.

I am pretty savy and didnt know this.
I KNOWits in facebook's best interest to have everything open...but wow. Its kind of like that with the new "timeline" you cant globally hide anything anymore. It all has to be individually hidden.

I find this to be so annoying. I don't like everyone I'm friends with seeing every single aspect of what I do on FB. This also happens in groups with an "open" feature, not just fan pages in case you didn't know.
