Facebook video virus
Anyone else have this problem?
I received 2 of them and like an idiot clicked on 1 of them without paying much attention and now it's sending emails to my FB friends!
Not to mention it seems to have slowed down my computer.
What can I do about this?
DH is ready to kill me.
I am so p i s s e d!

Yeah my coworker/fb friend got one and opened it work causing her entire computer to shut down. The boss was beyond po'd and we are all now banned from FB and checking our personal emails. Thanks alot to this person. I don't know why she had to open the attachment at work.

Thank you. I just sent that to my coworkers, since we use Facebook for business purposes.

I clicked on it too. It didn't get sent to my friends but it screwed up the computer. DH restored the computer to a date before I clicked on the link and it fixed the problem.

This is an old topic but we had our first infection here today and I spent all morning on it so I wanted to share.
After a ton of work, the program that finally cleaned the computer up for good was Malwarebytes. It's free, downloadable from the internet.
Now I have to go Big Brother on my users. This can't happen again.

Thanks for posting this - our assistant downloaded a virus from FB last week... she was out of commission for the whole day (and was telling everyone she got a virus from FB).
FB is blocked at some of our sites - I'm not sure why it isn't blocked here.
