Family Room Update - small update 8-31-09 (PICS)
This is just a very small update, but we are almost there. It's hard just working on the weekends most of the time. 
All of the moldings are no touched up after we caulked them, so they look great now. And all the closet doors are in and painted.
This is the little cubbie area under the stairs (great storage).
This is the closet door and Laundry room door on the left. The closet will have a closet/pantry organizer in it soon, (from IKEA). We can't wait. It's going to be great storage for us.
We need to finish some molding that goes up the stairs, that is sort of part of the room. Than we can do some touch ups on the walls from installing the flooring. oops!  Than we will be ready to put everything in the room. So within a couple of weeks we should be done. Of course we still have to hang stuff in the room. So our big reveal should be coming up in the next couple of weeks. We can't wait for it to finally be done and we can enjoy our room finally.

We finally closed, I'm feeling overwhelmed...haven't had 2 minutes to myself and haven't even posted pictures yet...but i will.
We aren't moving until the end of the month so that all the painting and floors are done first.

I love knowing I inspire others. 
Just take one room at a time. Write lots of lists too, it's so helpful. Can't wait to see your new home. Congrats!

It looks terrific!! I love the molding. And the colors look great (I could see a tiny bit of the blue color in the corner.) I'm SO looking forward to seeing the finished product. I would love, love, love to do something similar in our finished basement someday. For now, I'll live vicariously through you.

The beige is by Valspar "Swoosh", but we used Benjamin Moore Natura paint. BM will color match if you are looking to use BM.
Just so you know, out of the three pics I posted, the third one, is the most accurate color for the beige color. HTH!
