Family Room Remodel Update (8/11/09) PICS
well teaser pics. No it's not the big reveal yet.  We are almost there, but all the little things are taking forever to finish up. And we are tired at this point. Hopefully in the next few weeks we will be done. 
Our new custom bamboo shades are up, so the windows are finally finished. We had to do a lot to the windows to get them in working order and looking good. The previous owners just seemed to have ruined everything.  But they are done and looking good now.

And the base molding is almost completed. Then we have to caulk all of the nail holes and touch up with paint. Touch up some of the walls and we are ready to start decorating. Oh and we need to put in the closet organizer, doors and the door to the cubbie storage area as well. 
We are almost done!!!

Looks great!! I noticed your crown molding too - we were looking at a product like that ourselves. I liked that the corners didn't need to be cut just-so to get them to fit. I'm stupid when it comes to stuff like that!! 
You should be proud, you're doing a great job.

You should be proud, you're doing a great job.
That is why we bought this crown & base molding. It was just easier to install.

They weren't too bad for custom size shades. And they have lots of colors and materials. You can 10 free samples of colors you like. Oh and check out www.genericblinds.com too. They have very similar stuff, but some different colors, and they also will send you 10 free samples of your choice.

I think you need to have a Home Board GTG when it's done since we've all taken such an interest in this room throughout the process.
