Farbic Mill...has anyone used them for custom window treatments?
I'm so close to ordering some custom drapes from an online vendor, just wondering if it's really worth me driving over to the Fabric Mill.
Are they reasonable with their labor charges?

I haven't used them personally, but a lot of customers from my job use them just for this purpose and are satisfied

I haven't used them for custom window treatments but have used them for custom seat cushions for my dining room table...This was about 4 years ago and they still look great!!!
They were the cheapest but it did take 6 to 8 weeks to get them... The fabrics they have their are gorgeous.

A couple people on here have used them - sorry I dont remember who, but they sent me pics and were very nice. I am going to get an estimate when I get back in town. I heard Thomasville uses them. My quote from Ethan Allen was $9200 I am hoping hey come in around 40-50% less.

I brought my digital camera to get ideas from them. They are always changing what they have up on the walls. As far as work though I really don't know how they are. My mom always makes mine

I bit the bullet and just ordered them from online. I need them for our french doors in the master bedroom and I'm afraid to wait on it any longer.
I still intend to check out the Fabric Mill though! I'd like to have treatments done for DD's new room and have our dining room chairs reupholstered.

Re: Farbic Mill...has anyone used them for custom window treatments?
i know that i am too late on the reply but wanted to let you know that there is a store in huntington that makes custom drapes (well, anything fabric related). i think it is called sewing by sara but don't quote me.
the store is located on the side street of the HD shopping center (same street as the HHH side entrance). i have been in the store before but never ordered anything. i think the window treatment labor charges are $50 per panel (again don't quote me). they have a TON of fabric books or you can bring in your own. i know a lot of designers use her for custom work.
FM if you want better directions. can't remember the name of the street.
