First I wanted to say that I hope you are feeling better soon.
Second, I have written this before, but here goes. With my first pregnancy, I lost over 40 lbs. With my second pregnancy, I lost over 20. Both of my sons were born extremely healthy. They take what they need from you, and just leave you feeling like cr ap! 
I wasn't put on any medication because I was afraid I wouldn't even be able to keep that down. I just made sure I was always hydrated.
It was VERY upsetting for me to go to every appointment, thinking I had gained a pound or two, only to be told that I had lost 5 or 10! I was always an emotional mess.
But that's the way pregancies affect me. I can't even LOOK at food (wish it was always that way ). But again, the boys were very healthy, so that's what was most important.

I am SOO sorry Ann. Please do whatever the doctors need you to stay well. Will keep you in my prayers. Keep us posted if you can  . I wonder if they can get you on IV at home with a visiting nurse? just to be more comfortable???
My doc wants to try this however is hesitent. I have really bad veins on top of everything else so they infiltrate easily grrr

With my first pregnancy I lost so much weight. When we vomit its mostly fluid so its so easy to lose weight. Think of people who go on liquid diets they can lose so much so fast.
