Farmhouse sink
Does anybody have one?
Can you share where you got it, and how much it was?
Ikea's is a great price, but not sure I love the shape of it.
Pics of any would be awesome!

Re: Farmhouse sink
i have a double farmhouse (original to the house) and we still wash dishes by hand so its very helpful BUT its porcelain and breaks anything you drop in it (that could break) and its white so you have to bleach it out weekly in order for it to be white. I would go for stainless if possible.

Re: Farmhouse sink
We don't have it yet but ordered the Shaw's Original fireclay farm sink, the 30" wide one. Got it at a plumbing supply for better than any price I found online, around $750 or so.

This is the one I have and I love it! It makes much more of a visual impact than an inset sink. I got it at Blackman Plumbing. I'll post a picture later when I get home.

Re: Farmhouse sink
I guess I have a farmhouse sink, it's a hand-hammered copper sink. This isn't it, but it's basically the same. Image Attachment(s):

Re: Farmhouse sink
The next house we own (when we redo the kitchen), we will probably do a flat sink like in this pic. I have to say, every single person that has walked in my house has complimented my sink. DS is 15 months and I still give him baths in it!
I got mine on Ebay for $600. It has been hands down my favorite purchase ever. Image Attachment(s):
