Fatigue is still terrible at 12 weeks...anyone else??
I feel like this pregnancy is kicking my a**. Maybe its because its the second time around....but with my son, I was feeling better by now. Granted my nausea is better. But I am SO TIRED. I could sleep all day. I feel lazy and non functional.
Did anyone else still have fatigue pretty bad at 12 weeks? When did it ease up???
TIA!!

I was the same way... I really thought at 12 weeks I'd suddenly get this burst of energy that others were telling me about. I never did... Maybe at around 14 weeks I was able to stay up later than 8:30 PM. Now I'm 22 weeks and can stay up till 10. Wow! I don't have this burst of energy that people were talking about, but I guess I have more than I did in the first tri

This gives me hope! I had my thyroid tested because of how bad the fatigue is, but came back normal.
I really hope by 14 weeks I am more like myself..this feeling is getting OLD!!

Re: Fatigue is still terrible at 12 weeks...anyone else??
I am in my 13th week now. I didn't notice any change last week, but it seems to be getting slightly better this week. I actually stayed up until 9pm last night, whereas last week I was leaving work at 3pm because I couldn't even keep my eyes open. I wouldn't say I feel a "sudden burst" of energy though. Def not!

My extreme fatigue lasted until about 20 weeks. Now at 25 weeks I can actually stay awake until about 10:30PM.

I think mine got better weeks 14-15. Now at almost 18 weeks I am getting about 6-7 hours of sleep a night and working two jobs with no naps!

I am at 13 weeks- still tired as in the beg. Def didn't get the burst of energy! I have been falling asleep at 8:30 and waking up at 7am, and I still get sleepy at work.

I'm 15 w and it's just getting slightly better now. I still come home from work and crash, but on weekends, I have tons of energy that I didn't have earlier in the pregnancy.

Could some of the fatigue be that you are on the run with DS? I know I am more tired this pregnancy than I am last. I attribute it to not being able to put my feet up when I get home from work. This pregnancy is definitely different.

With my first pregnancy, I remember my energy coming back at the end of the first trimester. This time, no such luck. I'm 29 weeks & still exhausted constantly

Re: Fatigue is still terrible at 12 weeks...anyone else??
Last pregnancy I had bad m/s and fatigue it kicked my butt until week 16. this time around not soo bad, but defiantly wasnt the energizer bunny.. plus with another child runnign around makes you a bit more sluggish easier. Im now at the end and gotta say.. I feel like I can pass out any minute.. except when its 12 am and I can sleep.. then Im up all nite.

Re: Fatigue is still terrible at 12 weeks...anyone else??
It was still there at 12 weeks for me. It slowly lifted over the next few weeks and now at 20 weeks I can stay up until 10 or 11 most nights. It will get better. But, I can imagine that chasing around a little one makes it worse.

Re: Fatigue is still terrible at 12 weeks...anyone else??
I'm almost 14 weeks and super tired. I was just complaining that I don't have energy to unload the dishwasher, much less workout
I'm hoping it eases up soon

Re: Fatigue is still terrible at 12 weeks...anyone else??
I'm pretty bad..I don't want to do anything but I keep pushing through. I'm 12 weeks 3 days. Doesn't help that I think I have some kind of bug and my body aches and I'm cold. Hope we all get our energy back soon!!

Re: Fatigue is still terrible at 12 weeks...anyone else??
i didn't feel any relief until the end of my 14th week. i literally woke up one morning and was able to walk to work (which i do every day) and feel like i could make it there (it wasn't an effort to put one foot in front of the other). i wasn't completely 100% but i felt like i could move again and it's gotten progressively better since.

Re: Fatigue is still terrible at 12 weeks...anyone else??
Thanks so much for all the replies!
I hope it eases up by 14 weeks, that would be nice
I think having a toddler definitely makes the second time around a bit more difficult.
I also read that I may be oversleeping!! They said that if you overnap, it could leave you more exhausted and I should be taking two 30 min. naps during the day..I'll try that today!
