Fav dips

what are your fav dips to eat/make? I am always looking for new recipes.

I had a really good one this week:
-cream cheese on the bottom
-layer of "no beans"
-then shredded cheese on top.

Warm that up until the cheese melts..it was so good.

share some of yours.

We do this in 4 layers w/the no bean chili over the cream cheese...then the salsa.

Chat Icon this is my go-to dinner when I don't feel like cooking... I always have the ingredients on hand!

I make both of the above dips all of the time! I also add sliced olives to the first dip after I heat it. You can also add jalapeño peppers as well!

Re: Fav dips

I'm obsessed with dip! I agree with basically all of the above! Another one I LOVE is greek dip.

Layered Greek Dip

Ingredients
• 8 ounce package reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
• 1 (10 ounce) container hummus (I used Sabra)
• 1/2 a medium cucumber (about 1 cup), diced small
• 2 Roma tomatoes, diced small
• 1 (2 ounce) can sliced black olives
• 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
• 1 scallion stalk, chopped
• Pita chips

Directions
In medium bowl with an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese, garlic, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning until thoroughly combined and smooth.

Spread cream cheese mixture into a deep 9-inch pie plate (or shallow serving dish.) Evenly spread hummus on cream cheese layer. Top with cucumber, tomato, olives, feta cheese, and green onions. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 24 hours. Serve with pita chips.

Also love this easy southwest dip. In a food processor combine softened cream cheese, roasted red peppers and 1/2- whole packet of ranch dressing powder. Delish on tortilla chips.

Another easy yummy one is to mix a jar of salsa, cut up avocado and chopped mango.

Fav dips

Anything in a bread bowl! Cold spinach dip, ranch dip, the rye dip from wegman's.

Taco dip. I usually do refried beans, sour cream mixed with taco seasoning, sometimes cooked taco meat, red onion, chopped tomatoes, cheddar and bake until the cheese is melted.

I love the greek layered dip posted above and have made it a few times.
