Local store or online. Beachy/coastal or Fixer Upper style is a plus! TIA!

I recently went to hobby lobby. They have areas like home goods and they are bigger. They have coupons online like Michaels too.

Re: Fave store for home decor

I have to be honest I never find anything in Home Goods. It reminds me of Marshall's- a hot mess, everything all over the place, and never seem to have what I am looking for at that moment. A very odd lot type feel IMO. Like all the left overs from stores that couldn't sell it pretty much

I buy a lot of my home decor online. I search for what I am looking for at that moment and go from there.

Exactly why I hate TJM, Marshalls, Home Goods.

Try Target, Kohl's, Bed Bath & Beyond

not a fan of home goods anymore. I actually go to Big Lots alot now because their stuff is alot cheaper and they have alot of the exact same items that home goods has

I love:

Willy Nillly @ Home in Bay Shore
Country Cupboard in Babylon Village
Anchor & Co. in Amityville

There are also lots of great little stores in Sayville (none of which I can remember the name of Chat Icon), Babylon Village and Bay Shore

Re: Fave store for home decor

I do like Home Goods, but find it to be hit or miss. One day I will leave with nothing and another, I will walk out with a full cart.

The ones in Long Island stink! I've been to them all and they are messy. I started going to the one in the Bronx and it's incredibly organized, tons of inventory and I'm usually one of like 5 customers in the store. It's so
Peaceful. I took DH there a few weeks ago and he was impressed and agreed once we move in, we will be buying our rugs from there. That says a lot since he's super picky and liks everything to be high end

Do you have the At Home Store on Long Island? We have it by me and it's amazing.

Nicolettes For The Home in Massapequa is the best! I try to avoid going there, though, since I can easily drop hundreds of dollars! It's on N. Broadway.
