Favorite and Least Favorite Holiday Movies??
I noticed a lot of "Christmas Story" avatars and began wondering what holiday movies everyone loves and hates!
Please share yours!
I'll start:
Love: Its a Wonderful Life
Hate: A Christmas Story (as a child I was ridiculously freaked out by the Santa and Elves part where they boot the kid in the face down the sled...haven't gotten over it yet)

I've never seen A Christmas Story and have no interest in seeing it.
White Christmas and Miracle on 34th Street are my faves.

Jim Henson's "The Christmas Toy" (My parents taped it for me back in the 1980s and I LOVED it and love watching it every year on VHS.
Least fav:
"A Christmas Story" - DH loves it, but I've never been a big fan

I love A Christmas Story...YAY Cleveland!! I went to see the same Santa growing up but there was no cool slide. I also love one of the Lifetime Christmas movies where Santa has amnesia, there is a kid and a reporter. I forget the name but I watched it on Sunday.

I think I dislike more movies than like:
I hated the train movie with Tom Hanks
as did I dislike a Christmas Story
I love A Family Stone, but that is not Xmas per say

I never saw Polar Express that the animated kids freaked me out. I've never seen what the big thing was with Wonderful Life...

I actually love them all- from National Lampoon's to It's a Wonderful Life. I can't pick a favorite and don't have a least favorite.
Favorite scenes-
Christmas Story- when they are eating duck at the Chinese restaurant
It's a Wonderful Life- When he asks her if she would like him to lasso the moon
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation- When their tree smashes through the yuppie's house
Love Actually- When the little girl sings the Christmas song and gives the boy who had a crush on her a kiss- I love that song

I think your the only one that knows the movie "One Magic Christmas". I have loved this movie since I was little. I bought it on DVD a few years ago.
I can't believe people don't like a Christmas Story. I can watch this movie over and over again, and never get sick of it.

LOVE Elf and A Chrstmas Story -
All of the old school claymations are awesome .........
I never understood the big deal about It's A Wonderful Life .......

I love all of them except It's a Wonderful Life. Every time it's on I shut it off. Oh and I hate March of the Wooden Soldiers but I think that is more Thanksgiving then Christmas.

I can't even think of one I hate.
But I love White Chrismas, The Charlie Brown Christmas Special, and the Rudolph Special with the Abomidable Snow man. They are all classics !
