Re: Favorite Bedtime story
none
AJ doesn't like to be read to. She likes to play with the books and have them read WITH her but she does not consider it bed time routine. It is play time activity.
My kid is a weirdo, I know.

Re: Favorite Bedtime story
I Will Love You Forever The Night You Were Born Are You My Mommy? (Dr. Seuss) Baby Bear, Baby Bear Oh, Baby! Go, Baby! (Oh Baby The Places You'll Go) by Dr. Seuss (DS's FAVORITE) and when she is older you can get her The Place You Will Go for a graduation or something special! Chicka Chicka Boom Boom The Kissing Hand
Another vote for Guess How Much I Love You!
We read Goodnight Moon EVERY night with 1 other book! This was my favorite baby book and every night my parents would take me to every window in the house to say goodnight to the moon. Apparently, it was not a calm house if the moon wasn't out!!! I wanted to continue the tradition...

"The Going to Bed Book" by Sandra Boynton tops all others in this house.
Actually, my kids would prefer Sandra Boynton's books to anything else! Some faves are: Snuggle Puppy, Hippos Go Berserk, and But Not the Hippopotomus.

Re: Favorite Bedtime story
My 2 yo LOVES his popup books from the Busy Bugz series. There must be at least 8, thank god 'cus my husband would get tired of reading the same one!
DS won't sleep w/o having one read to him. The books are beautiful esp. with the popups and the stories are cute too.

I got them for $6 apiece at Borders. Such a steal. :D

DD (almost 3.5 years) loves "If you give a cat a cupcake" and all the variants...."If you give a moose a muffin", etc.
We do love Tickle Monster too. Tons more, I just can't think of them right now.
