Mommies of 2 or more - Question about bedtime story

If you have 2 or more kids where/when do you do storytime (ie, kids room, couch, your bed)? And how do you position the kids?

We read to them after they've had showers and put on PJs. Most of the time we read to them in our bed and have one on either side of us. Sometimes I sit on Nates toddler bed and he will sit to my left while Jay sits in my lap. My preference would be to read to them in their room to avoid a transition, but I find that they fight less over who sees more of the book when we sit on my bed.

Just curious how other parents do it.

Storytime is very big in my house

With DS#1 I had him on my lap everynight

Now that DS#2 ( 4months) is here I either try to hold both of them or lie on the bed with them(or the couch)

I sit on Brooke's bed. Its easier to get into because she doesn't have a bed rail like Kaitee's bed has. Both girls sit on each side of me.
