Favorite (cheap) things to do in Vegas?
DH and I take about 5-6 vacations a year. We go to Vegas annually and wind up spending next to nothing so that we can spend more money on our other trips. We use frequent flier credits to get there, score good deals on hotel rooms, etc.
We love the challenge of finding really good deals in vegas. Cheap food, cheap drinks, good gambling situations, etc.
$4.95 steak dinner? check! Free drinks all day while watching football at sportsbook? check! Buffets using coupons? check!
Anyone have any to share?

My favorite things in Vegas are ree ! I haven't been there in years but I used to LOVE the fountains at the Bellagio and the Pirates show at Treasure Island. Just walking around looking at the different hotels designs is fun. They have such beautiful scenes inside !
We did a roller coaster day once and hit all the coasters on the strip (although this is not that cheap). I went to the pool at our hotel one day and went to the "secret garden" zoo the other day.
I was surprised there was so much more to do than gamble !

DH and I drove the the Hoover dam and took the tour - it was relatively cheap and actually really enjoyable (DH had to drag me there, but I ended up liking it!)
I know it's outside of Vegas, but I think it still counts!

I agree...it was really cool to see how BIG it is.
Also you can take a ride to Red Rock Canyon.

I hear renting a car is pretty cheap on the strip, I might look into that!
