Favorite eye shadow brands?
I am not happy with my current eyeshadows( mostly L'oreal & Maybelline).
I am looking for something available in Sephora or a drug store.
Does anyone have any particular brands they can reccomend. My main compalints are colors looking muddy, and not staying on.

Drug store brand-Def Revlon 12 hour!
As for other brands, I like lorac, mac, urban decay (they have funky colors) and I also like nars.
I dislike chanel and christian dior shadows. They just don't stay on AT ALL.

Thanks! THe other day, I went to Sephora, and was putting different kinds on my hands to get a feel for the powders, and I tried a green on somewhere, and it wouldn't come off!
I wish I could remember where that was. It might have been Urban Decay, b/c it was a BRIGHT green.
I have a Revlon quad. I forget why I don't use it. I think b/c the "slices" are so small. I should try it again,or maybe I didn't buy a good color.

We don't have Ulta in Westchester. 
Next LI family function though, . . .I'll make up some excuse to leave early & go to Ulta!

you can try this.
mac has an eyeshadow liner thing. i forget the name but i get it in the nude shade and put it on my lids before applying eyeshadow and my eyeshadow stays put all day no matter what brand I use.
ETA: ok its the shadestick and I get it in this shade its the lightest color beige-ing

You know, I've used prestige eyeliner, but I don't think I've ever tried the shadow. Interesting. . .I'll have to give that a try. It was also mentioned in that " Drug store doubles" thread posted recently.
If MAC was in Sephora, I 'd definitely try it, but I never go to make up counters.

Hands down i love MAC eyeshadows. But you cant get it at Sephora. But if you have a MAC close by, try it!
