Favorite North Fork Wineries/Lunch places?
DH and I are going out east on Friday for my birthday ( no kids!! ) and staying over the night in Greenport. We plan on hitting up the wineries during the day.
Which ones are your favorites??
Any lunch recs? We may do Scrimshaw or Frisky Oyster for dinner.

Re: Favorite North Fork Wineries/Lunch places?
I like Peconic Bay Winery. They have live music from 6-9 on Friday nights. We did this last week (I live on the N.Fork) and had a good time. You may have to call and reserve a seat though. They have picnic tables, outdoor couches and adirondack chairs to sit in. People just bring food and hang out.
As for lunch, I love Love Lane Kitchen on Love Lane in Mattituck. Also, for a super casual lunch (mainly just for burgers and sandwiches), I like the Chowder Pot Pub in Greenport. They have a nice outside deck on the water near the ferry. Nothing fancy, but a nice outside atmosphere. They have an outside bar and live music at night as well. It's a nice less crowded alternative to Claudios if you just want to hang out, have a few drinks, listen to music without the crowd.

to eat - The Sound View Inn restaurant on Sound View. It is just outside of Greenport
Also, there is a great restaurant in Greenport called Claudios, seafood. It is on the dock in town.
In Mattituck, there is another great place called the Old Mill Inn!

Re: Favorite North Fork Wineries/Lunch places?
Thanks everyone here's my review:
We had lunch on the way out at the Lobster Roll north. It was good and I have always wanted to go there.
We had lunch on the way home at Love Lane Kitchen in Mattituck which was really cute and very good.
We went to quite a few wineries over the 2 days- Vineyard 48, Castello di Borghese, Martha Clara, Osprey's (for music at night) Jason's Vineyard, Peconic Bay and maybe 1 or 2 more I can't remember .
Our dinner at Scrimshaw was delish and the place is tiny but right on the pier.
The Greenporter was good- its like a updated motel - but it had a nice pool and hottub that was great becasue it was hot when we were there. They ahd complimentarty breakfast in the morning which was fine for a little something and some coffee.
Overall a very relaxing getaway
