Favorite pilates/yoga/yogalates dvds?
My muscles have been getting so tight and sore from my recent workouts. I did a pilates video tonight and it was nice to work out a bit, do some core work and stretch everything out.
I want something that focuses on stretching and lengthening. I don't really need a workout. I want something to do at night (no sweating) to unwind before bed.
Any suggestions would be great!! Thanks

I would definetly get a Yoga DVd. I just got the Biggest Loser Yoga and its tough for yoga so I wouldnt recommend it if you are looking for something relaxing, but the Gaiam yoga I hear are prtty good. Do you have on Demand because they always have some yoga workouts on there.

I have a Gaiam (sp) pilates DVD that has a morning workout and an evening workout.
The morning 'instructor' kind of freaks me out, but I like the one for the 'evening'

Yes that was the one I did the other night!
So I bought the 10 minute workout one (it's 10 minutes each and there are 5 different ones) and ended up doing the whole thing last night. Not really relaxing but definitely a workout and it kept my mind off of the munchies
I made an effort to stretch today after my workout at the gym. I hope the combo of the two will help!
Thanks girls!

I like the Windsor Pilates DVD's. And you can pick what kind of a workout you want... they have some that are relaxing and get you to stretch out and they are some that you can do to strengthen your body too.

Check out the library to see what they have. I've often found they can be a good resource. I have 2 pilates DVD's from Crunch Fitness which I really like. I'll get the exact names for you. I also have the Windsor Pilates which I like.
